This education specific Delivering Successful Carbon Literacy (DSCL) session, is designed for those in education (staff or student) looking to deliver Carbon Literacy training to their staff and/or students. Being Carbon Literate and attending a DSCL session are requirements of anyone delivering training.

Please note, this session is not Carbon Literacy training and you will not be Carbon Literate from attending. It is recommended you complete your Carbon Literacy before joining this session.

*** We will 'open doors' at 12.55pm to promptly start at 1pm. ***

Session overview:

What: Within this session we’ll provide an overview of the Carbon Literacy courses available for use in FHE and Schools. We will also be taking a closer look at the CL Standard, discussing our Marking Guide, what we expect when it comes to actions, and talking through our certification process and relevant documents. There will be plenty of time at the end for you to ask us any questions you have about Carbon Literacy and our processes. Please note, this workshop is not a certified course, but does form as part of the criteria to achieve CLF certification and is required for delivering Carbon Literacy.

Why: This workshop is a requirement for the delivery of Carbon Literacy and ensures that individuals delivering training are aware of the processes and procedures of conducting Carbon Literacy to the Standard. The session aims to give attendees the confidence to deliver whilst maintaining the expected high standard of delivery. This training is also a step in attaining the CLF accreditation, which is detailed in this DSCL session.

Who: This session is open to those looking to deliver Carbon Literacy in the education sector, to staff and/or students. You only need to attend one DSCL session. Sessions are run regularly but cover the same content in each session. If you have attended a DSCL (non-education specific) session before, then you will not need to attend again.
