Join Carbon Literacy Consultant Caroline Harmon and CLP team member Christiane Lorent (Project Advocate) for an informal Christmas meet-up from 6pm at -

This is an informal chance for members of the the Trainer Network and Carbon Literacy Project team to connect in their local area and share a seasonal drink and maybe even pizza.

Meet your hosts - 

Caroline Harmon, Carbon Literacy Consultant

Caroline has worked in the environmental sector for more than 25 years, working for a number of environmental charities before becoming a Carbon Literacy trainer in 2019. She has delivered Carbon Literacy training to more than 1500 people. In 2020 she created the world’s first online Carbon Literacy course. She has created eight different versions of Carbon Literacy including one for Local Authorities (before a Local Authority toolkit existed), one for communities, two for organisations interested in rolling out Carbon Literacy in their own organisation, three for churches and one for DeMontfort University.

She has also created and delivers a Carbon Literacy Train the Trainers course for new and aspiring Carbon Literacy trainers across a number of sectors.

Christiane Lorent, Carbon Literacy Trainer & Project Advocate at CLP

Christiane is part of the Advocacy Team at The Carbon Literacy Project. Having previously worked as a Carbon Literacy Trainer, she has helped numerous SMEs, local authorities and residents on their journey to reducing their carbon emissions.

Christiane has a background in business, having studied French and Business at Hull University and is qualified in Business Sustainability Management as certified by the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive knowledge from managerial and training roles both in the Food and the Fashion Retail Sectors.

On her latest project before joining The Carbon Literacy Project, Christiane has worked with De Montfort University and the Universities Partnership Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to deliver courses and support to local SMEs on how to decarbonise their businesses and become more sustainable.
