Trainer Month: Exploring Different Models for Training
Welcome to the first in our series of events for Trainer Month!
Throughout October we'll be gathering online for 'Trainer Tuesdays'. We’ll share best practice and top tips from experienced Carbon Literacy Trainers (CLT), Consultants (CLC) and members of The Carbon Literacy Project team. There will be short presentations from our speakers and a panel discussion with plenty of time to ask questions.
In 'Exploring different models for training' we will be hearing from trainers delivering Carbon Literacy training using different models asking the questions-
- Who pays you for training?
- Who are your audience?
- How do your audience find you?
- What are the opportunities and challenges of this model for training?
After the event, we will compile the resources and tips shared into a handout for attendees.
This event is free of charge for certified Carbon Literacy Consultants (CLC) and Carbon Literacy Trainers (CLT)
To support the work of the Project and the Trainer Network, tickets for Carbon Literacy Facilitators (CLF), informal trainers or those interested in delivering Carbon Literacy are £10 per trainer month event or £30 for access to all events in this series. You'll be sent the joining link for the event, the day before it takes place.

Pat Glover
Pat brings together 15 years’ experience in scientific research and a further 15 years in education, alongside ongoing projects with local communities, councils and schools, to help develop low‑carbon actions that fit our lives, work and circumstances.
Her Positive Actions for People, Nature and Climate course focuses on the evidence, affordability and practicalities of a range of actions we may be able to take – from the food we eat and how we heat our homes and workplaces, to how we travel and the stuff we buy – while recognising that tackling the climate, nature and equality crises should not be left to individuals alone.
Carbon Literacy is a brilliant way to maximise our impact and scalability, and for this reason, Pat offers a limited number of free places and all course materials are shared. Voluntary donations to help keep training free for others are very welcome.
