Celebrate 15 years of The Carolyn Rose School of Sewing!

The Carolyn Rose School of Sewing is excited to announce our upcoming Sewing Social in partnership with My Handmade Wardrobe! Taking place at Dale Street Methodist Church in Leamington Spa on Saturday 24th October 2026. This event is a proper celebration of a community built stitch by stitch, together. We would love our sewists to join the party! 

The event includes: 

• Social sewing
• Goodie bag on arrival 
• Special guests! 
• Raffle (£1 per ticket)
• Remnants table
• Fabric swap
• Pop-up supply shop
• Refreshments - Tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits on tap all day! 
• A discount voucher for the Carolyn Rose School of Sewing Christmas Workshops
• And much more!

Please arrive at the venue at 12pm! Exact timings for the day will be shared with attendees closer to the event. 

Important - When booking your ticket for the sewing social, please let us know:

1. Allergies or dietary requirements
2. Accessibility requirements
3. If you are happy for your photo to be taken on the day, which may be used on our social media

Our event is for persons aged 15+. Please do not bring children younger than 15.

*Your order confirmation acts as your ticket, you will not need to print this for access to the event. 

Helpful tips for the day:

• Please bring your own sewing machine and sewing tools. A pre-cut sewing project (we will have no dedicated areas for cutting out). We will have a pressing area and overlockers available! 
• You are welcome to bring your own snacks or cold packed lunch, please ensure these are nut free.
• On arrival come to the Side Door at the Regent Street end of the building and ring the bell for 'Hall'

• Free parking is available at the venue but spaces are very limited!

The venue is a 15 minute walk from Leamington Spa Station or a 5 minute taxi ride.

Cancellation Policy

• More than or equal to 14 days before the start date: No cancellation fee.
• Less than 14 days before the start date: 100% of the ticket fee
