about the artists

Julian Singer-Corbin (Music) is a Singer/Songwriter living and dreaming in New York City. NPR Music said he has a "...singular, swoonworthy voice." His rolling landscape of Americana and Blues inspired steel string guitar serves as a soft and inviting backdrop to his thoughtful lyrics and poems. For the past 20 years, he's been working together with audiences to discover what it means to be alive, through song. The juxtaposition of power and vulnerability in his live performance is not something to be missed.

Liz Chestang (Poetry) (she/her) is a dancer, actor, poet and fitness professional originally from Cleveland, Ohio. After attending the Ailey School in NYC, she performed as a dancer domestically and abroad in theater, film, television and live events. Liz has been a featured poet at The Fire This Time Festival, Dumbo House, Poetry In The Park, Gladys Bookshop, and Bowery Poetry Club. She hosts a bi-monthly event, Sweet Circuit, which highlights poets and musicians of color. Liz leads a life of love in Brooklyn, NY with her fiance, great friends and her cats.

Giorgio Miraflor (Film) is a multi-award-winning Filipino-American filmmaker and actor based in Brooklyn, NY. Starting as solely an actor in the independent film scene in Tampa, to getting a Master's in Filmmaking at the University of East London, he now continues to do both, looking to share diverse stories and underrepresented voices and faces through his short films.
