Josh Werner is a New York City based bassist, visual artist, producer, composer and songwriter, who has worked with artists such as: Cocorosie, James Brandon Lewis, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Ghostface Killah, Marc Ribot, Nels Cline, Cibo Matto and Jah Wobble.
James Brandon Lewis is a critically acclaimed saxophonist and composer. Lewis has received accolades from The New York Times, NPR, and most recently voted Rising Star Tenor Saxophonist by Downbeat Magazines 2020 Critic’s Poll. Lewis leads numerous ensembles and is the Co-Founder of award winning poetry and music ensemble Heroes Are Gang Leaders . He attended Howard University and received his MFA from California Institute of the Arts.
Ches Smith: In addition to leading his own trio (with Craig Taborn and Mat Maneri), Smith's ensemble conjoining Haitian Vodou drums with creative music We All Break, and his electronics-laden solo percussion project Congs for Brums, Ches Smith also works as a side musician, playing drums and percussion with Marc Ribot, Tim Berne, Mary Halvorson, John Zorn, and many others. He collaborates in the doom-improv trio Tanks with Brandon Seabrook and Toby Driver, and the free jazz duo Good for Cows with Devin Hoff. He is a long-time student of Haitian Vodou drums and performs in religious and folkloric contexts in New York, San Francisco and Haiti. He has published an article relating his experience entitled "We All Break: a Crossroads of Haitian Vodou and Creative music," featured in John Zorn's Arcana VII.
Patrick Holmes was born and raised in Austin,Tx. He has performed on clarinet with Sabir Mateen, Federico Ughi, Ryan Sawyer, Connie Crothers, Daniel Carter, Brandon Lopez, Chris Corsano, Jon Gibson, 5 dollar Priest, James Brandon Lewis and many others.
