Join us for our spectacular Annual Fireworks Night in the beautiful walled gardens of the historic Chantry on Friday November 8^th 2024.

The Walled Garden is our venue again this year – dating back to Tudor times, and a perfect enclosed space for children, it is a wonderful setting for this great annual event.

Numbers are strictly limited to ensure that everyone has a good amount of space and has a good view of the excellent firework display.

Tickets are only available on-line. There will be NO tickets for sale on the door.

Times

The doors will open at 5.30 pm.

Firework display will start at 7 pm.

The event will close by 9 pm.

Food and Drink

There will be hot dogs, snacks and drinks on offer, including a licensed bar.

Parking

Only limited disabled parking will be available at the Chantry and must be pre-booked. No other parking will be available on-site.

If you are travelling by car, we recommend leaving 5-6 minutes to walk from either the Castle Court car park, behind the Methodist church, or the large Rock Street carpark, opposite Aldi. Please do not park in Kington Lane or outside the Chantry as the roads are narrow and the traffic will be busy.

Other information

The event is held in the grounds of the Chantry which can be uneven with some areas not accessible for disabled people. Please do not attend if you have COVID symptoms.

Entry to the grounds will be via the historic Tudor arch doors at the Thornbury Castle end of the building. If you arrive early, please queue in front of the building. Please have your booking details ready for checking.

No sparklers or any other forms of firework may be brought to the display.

No pets will be allowed.

Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult.

The event will take place regardless of the weather and tickets are non-refundable. All money raised at the fireworks event will help to fund renovation projects at the Chantry.
