Saturday 8th August – 1pm swim time
Registration adjacent to the Marazion Slipway from 11am. TR17 0AP
At registration we will check you in, write your swim number on the back of your hand, and give you your swim cap.
If the weather and sea conditions are favourable, then the swim around the Mount will be in a clockwise direction. The safety briefing for the swim will take place on the slipway just prior to the start.
Please remember to check out of the swim by giving your swim number to a volunteer when you arrive back at the beach. We need to know that everyone has made it back!
Click here to find out about car parking.
There are bike racks in the far corner of the short stay car park, facing the sea, next to The Godolphin and Mount's Bay Sailing Club. The bike racks are free to use.
Swimming around beautiful St Michael’s Mount is a rare opportunity, and a fantastic experience. This event is one of our more challenging swims, but those who take part will be rewarded with breath-taking views, and bragging rights to having circumvented what is arguably Cornwall’s most iconic island!
The St Michaels Mount swim starts on the beach at Marazion where swimmers set off for the Mount over the causeway swimming through clear waters around the Mount before making a course back to the beach. Registration for the swim is now open, and costs just £40.
The cost of your entry ticket helps us to cover the costs associated with the event, such as paying our fantastic water safety team.
The money you raise through GivenGain goes towards supporting the charity’s current aims. You can make your own page here.
We ask that swimmers set themselves a fundraising target of £75.

Our work with prostate, testicular and penile cancer patients and their families is only possible thanks to donations. So supporting our fellow men like this really is an act of kindness. I’d like to thank you not only for your generosity, which will help so many, but also for caring enough to support us.
The Chestnut Appeal is very grateful to The St Aubyn Foundation for their continued support.
