2026 Burgh Island Swim in aid of The Chestnut Appeal

Sunday 26th July.   11am swim time.   Registration on the beach from 9am. 

This event is an opportunity to swim round Devon’s Burgh Island, the iconic landmark that’s closely linked to Agatha Christie. The island and hotel were setting inspiration for several of Christie’s mysteries, and as far back as 1994 both have been used as filming locations for various adaptations of her work.  This is a rearranged date after the swim on 12th July was postponed due to high winds

We ask that swimmers set themselves a minimum fundraising target of £75, as the cost of your entry ticket only helps us cover the costs of the safety crew. it's the funds you raise through Given Gain that go to helping us fight men's cancer.
