The Bears of Sheffield has been the biggest public art event Sheffield has seen since the success of our Herd of Sheffield event in 2016. It’s brightened the city’s streets and open spaces throughout the summer of 2021 whilst celebrating Sheffield’s Steel City heritage and creative talent.
The Bears of Sheffield Farewell Weekend is your chance to say a last goodbye to all 60 large bear sculptures as they gather in one place for a final send-off at Meadowhall.
This special event will give visitors a chance to see the entire sleuth in all its glory - from 'Snoobear', autographed by a host of international snooker players including current world champion Mark Selby, right through to our very own 'Theo Bear'.
Meadowhall, along with its joint owners, British Land are very proud to be supporting The Children's Hospital Charity as presenting partner for the Bears of Sheffield Farewell Weekend.
Please note that the Little Bear sculptures will not be on display as they will be returned to their school for pupils to enjoy.
