(TUESDAY EVENING - Beginners, improvers throwing and hand building class

NEW CLASS: Mixed skills 

Whether you want to develop your throwing on the wheel skills OR try out some hand building techniques, this is the class for you.

Although we usually dedicate our classes to EITHER throwing or hand building, there are crossovers and so this term we thought it would be fun to mix it up and enable you to choose OR bring the different approaches together.

Suitable for: beginners and improvers: Learning the basics and developing to more advanced techniques.

• Beginners: just starting out
• Intermediate: developing skills and in need of tutor support

Maximum of ten places. Learning the basics and developing to more advanced techniques. 

COST INCLUDES:  the tuition, use of a wheel each or hand-building tools and equipment provided. Use of as much clay as needed to practice, technician time to look after pots between session. 

There is a cost for anything fired which is charged by fired weight. Anything fired is charged at £7 per kg fired weight (a mug is around £2-£3). Each technique will be demonstrated in a way that you can choose your size and scale to fit your budget.

The lesson will be taught by Ammie, who has 40 years of ceramics experience. This term we are mixing it up, teaching basics and new ideas to bring your ceramic surfaces to life.
