Great Big Green Week 2025: Outreach training

Are you taking part in Great Big Green Week this year, but would like to know how you can reach out to more people in your community to get involved in planning events? Come along to our session for guidance on how to effectively reach out to new people!

You can boost your event or local Green Week, and have a lasting impact by getting others involved right from the start. In this session, we’ll cover:

• The power of connection - why reach out to people in your community?
• Outreach workshop - we’ll cover mapping your community, have discussions around how you can reach out to different audiences, and work through a framework for you to use for doing your outreach
• Other support to help you connect with others

The workshop will be led by Meg, Head of Movement Building at The Climate Coalition. A community organiser and campaigner, Meg works with communities and grassroots organisations, supporting them to build power through taking collective action.

This session will take place on Zoom, on Wednesday 26th March, 6-7:30pm, and anyone is welcome to attend.
