Young Clockmakers: Quartz Movements
Design and make your very own working clock with professional clockmaker Alex and Clockworks curator Kirsten. We'll be using quartz movements to power the hands - the rest is up to you! What will it look like?
Afterwards, take a look at the historic clocks in action in the main gallery, or take our pendulum quiz and see if you can win a badge.
This workshop is part of our summer holiday series tracing the history of timekeeping from water clocks to quartz movements.
