National Emergency Briefing: on the climate and nature crisis

Blend warmly invites you to a community screening of the National Emergency Briefing, followed by a facilitated conversation.
The briefing, first presented in Westminster in November 2025, brought together leading experts to share the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis with politicians and other decision-makers. This screening forms part of a wider effort to bring that evidence into communities across the UK and to create opportunities for collective reflection, discussion and action.
The post-screening conversation will be facilitated by Emma and Awa. While they are not climate specialists, they have extensive experience of facilitating encounter groups and supporting meaningful dialogue. Their role is to help create a space where participants can explore personal and collective responses to the themes raised by the film, including uncertainty, concern, hope, grief and possibility.
This is an expression of interest rather than a ticket. Registering helps us gauge attendance, prepare the venue, and keep you informed with reminders and updates.
This event is open to everyone - the local Sneinton community, Nottingham and beyond. Whatever your relationship to the climate and nature crisis, whether engaged, uncertain, sceptical, hopeful, anxious, or simply curious, you are invited to join the conversation. We aim to create an inclusive space where a diversity of experiences, viewpoints and voices can be heard respectfully.
