About The Course 

The Confidence Project is a 6 week course designed to help you feel stronger in your body and more confident in the gym. Whether you’re new to strength training or returning after time away, this programme offers a supportive, empowering environment where you can build knowledge, technique and self-belief.

What To Expect

  • A private studio for the first few weeks to build confidence, before moving out onto the gym floor.
  • Sessions will run every Thursday at 8pm for 6 weeks.
  • Technique-focused strength sessions suitable for all levels.
  • A 12 week strength programme - 6 weeks to be completed during the course, and 6 weeks to continue your journey once the course has ended.
  • A handy PDF where you can track your progress and develop your skills and confidence outside of the sessions.
  • No need to pay an additional gym membership - just the cost of the course!
  • Complimentary day pass, to have a go solo!

Verity

“I'm a Personal Trainer and Health Coach who’s primary interest has always been helping people improve their health and happiness.  Long term behavioural change is what makes me really tick - changing habits, and changing thinking, can mean change for good.

I have 16 years of coaching experience, a degree in Health, Exercise & Physical Activity, and further training in ACT, CBT, and behaviour change and nutrition. I bring a trauma-informed, empathetic style to every session - exercise should feel enjoyable, empowering, and supportive of both physical and emotional well-being.”

“I’m Elin - a Cardiff-based personal trainer with over 7 years’ experience in. I work with women and non-binary people, and I especially love helping those who are brand new to the gym build confidence and discover just how strong they can be.

My approach is supportive, inclusive, and 100% free from diet culture. I don’t believe in shaming people into starting exercise, I believe in empowering people and helping them fall in love with the process! Exercise should be fun, not a way of punishing yourself.”
