The Halloween Creek Dinner at Carousel Farm

The Creek Dinner is a wine-guided, live-fire communal dining experience set along the banks of the Harpeth River. This special Halloween edition features a thoughtfully curated three-course menu, paired wines, and an atmosphere designed to feel immersive, unhurried, and rooted in place — all enjoyed at a long table set in the creek and beneath the lights, with just a touch of autumn magic in the air.

Live music, a riverside cocktail hour, artisan demonstrations, and a crackling bonfire gathering are part of this one-of-a-kind evening. Come in costume if the spirit moves you — festive, elevated, and creek-appropriate is the vibe.

Creek Dinner favorite Chef Patrick McCandless of Rambler Events will once again build his live-fire kitchen on site, crafting a memorable seasonal menu inspired by the landscape, the season, and the moment.

Cocktail hour begins at 6:00 PM, with dinner served at 7:00 PM. Dinner is typically concluded before 9:30 PM.

Event Details

What's included? A multi-course live-fire dinner, curated wine pairings, cocktail hour, bonfire, and live music.

Is seating assigned? Seating is communal at a long shared table. Groups who purchase separately can be seated together with advance notice.

Is this 21+? Yes. All Creek Dinners are 21 and over.

What should I wear? Elevated casual attire (or a festive Halloween look) suitable for outdoor terrain. Creek/mud boots, water shoes, or sturdy sandals. Heels are not recommended. Costumes are welcome, but keep them comfortable for the creek and cool evening air.

What if it rains? The dinner may move to a covered structure or shift to a designated rain date. Details are provided per event.

What about parking? You will be guided to the parking area upon arrival, and a short walk through the trees will take you to the dinner setting by the water.
