Carbon Literacy Action Day 2025
Coinciding with COP30 in Belém, Brazil
While world leaders gather to negotiate climate policy, you can take action too. Join us for the world’s largest climate education and action training event, where learners worldwide will be empowered with the knowledge and tools to make a real difference.
About this training
This interactive, science-backed course will help you understand the climate crisis and give you practical ways to decarbonise your digital footprint at work, at home, and everywhere you use technology. And because this course finishes during 10–13 November, your learning will officially count towards Carbon Literacy Action Day (CLAD) 2025.

Anyone who uses digital tools daily: browsing the web, sending emails, storing files, using social media, taking photos… in other words, most of us!
You don’t need any prior experience in sustainability - just curiosity and a willingness to learn.

Creating your own Carbon Literacy Action Pledges
Topics include: dark data, sustainable web design, supply chain management, social media, ad campaigns, ecommerce, AI, green hosting and digital wellbeing.
Certification
To become officially certified by The Carbon Literacy Project, you’ll submit two personal pledges after the course. Our pass rate is 95% and we can provide one-to-one support if you need it.
(If pledges don’t initially meet the standard, resubmission is possible for a £15 fee.)
