We're delighted to announce that we'll be popping up this Spring at the gorgeous Cairn Bay Lodge overlooking beautiful Ballyhome Bay in Bangor, on Friday 23 or Saturday 24 March where we'll be serving up a Persian Feast.
Chris and Jenny of Cairn Bay Lodge have kindly invited us to take over the kitchen of their gorgeous arts and crafts styles cafe, The Starfish for two night's only.
We adore cooking Middle Eastern food as it is all so beautiful, colourful and packed full of punchy flavours. Our Middle Eastern menu is inspired by some of our favourite cookery writers - Sabrina Ghayour, Yotam Ottolenghi, Yasmin Khan & Joudie Kalla and features plenty of Persian recipes, Palestinian recipes and dishes from across the Middle East as well as a few of The Edible Flower's own innovations - Rhubarb & Cardamom sorbet anyone? Think glistening pomegranate seeds, flashes of crunchy green pistachio, salty, citrussy feta, smokey aubergine, unctuous slow-cooked lamb and spiced dark chocolate.
For full Menu and further details, please see The Edible Flower Website.
