IRAN BEHIND THE NEWS: Revealing the stories beyond the headlines

This event, organised by Woman Life Freedom Edinburgh, is a collaborative cultural evening celebrating Iranian literature, art, science, and social thought. “Iran Behind the News” aims to bring people together through themed discussions and curated book recommendations, covering a large array of interests, such as poetry, fiction, cookery, art and science. Alongside showcasing influential Iranian writers such as Sadeq Hedayat and Shahrnush Parsipur, there will be talks, creative contributions, and community-led activities to create an engaging and welcoming atmosphere.
