Train ride reservation is required to ride the train. You are welcome to arrive anytime between 5pm & 9pm. The reservation is for your train ride time only.

Ride Tickets:

***Ride tickets cannot be used for train rides during Winter Wonderland by Night. Train rides require a reservation.

$25 for 10 tickets

$59 for 25 tickets

$99 for 50 tickets

Tickets are valid through 2024, so you can come back for more!

Train ride (12 min): 3 tickets

Carousel: 2 tickets (175 lbs max weight to ride horse, weight over 175 can ride in train car)

Hand Cart ride: 2 tickets (must be under 42"to ride)

Panning for Treasures: 5 tickets

110' Slide: 2 tickets (must be 42" tall to ride slide alone (all riders need a ticket).)

Mind Winder: 3 tickets (must be 42" tall to ride, even with an adult)

Bounce House: 3 tickets (10 minutes)

Fun House: 2 tickets (36"-53" to enter, No open toe shoes)

Anyone under 8 years old are required to be accompanied by an adult on the Train.

***If purchasing ride tickets only, adults and children over 1 year old must also purchase a admission for Winter Wonderland by Day $10 or Winter Wonderland by Night $25 to enter

If the train is purchase for night time event and train is not operable, a $10 refund will be provided. In the event of rain, a full refund will be issued. Rides are subject toavailability.

Parking by DAY

On Saturdays & Sundays during the day parking is $8 . Please enter through 7550 E. Spring Street, Long Beach, CA 90815 (NOT the Nature Center). Enter into the Regional Park to Area 3 and follow directions to "Train Ride" or The Frontier. Ask regional park entrance attendant for park map and directions to The El Dorado Frontier.

Parking & Entrance by NIGHT

Parking is FREE at night. Please use our nighttime entrance at 7575 E Wardlow Rd, Long Beach, CA 90815

Should The El Dorado Frontier close for any unforeseen reason, you will be contacted by email on the day that you are scheduled to visit The Frontier.
