Our seventh Deep Dive of 2026 is brought to you by Dr Lynsey Holmes.
This 3 hour deep dive will give you an insight into the powerful technique of EMDR Therapy.
EMDR is an effective therapeutic approach developed to target PTSD symptoms and has also been used successfully with a range of other presenting issues. It is recommended by NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence) and WHO (World Health Organisation).
The workshop will explore:
- What is EMDR?
- How was it developed?
- Your own brain doing the healing: the wonderful power of AIP
- An overview of the 8 phases of EMDR
- Myths about EMDR
- How to train in EMDR
- Clinical examples and demonstrations
Hopefully you will come away from the session with:
- A good insight into what EMDR is
- What it can offer you and your clients
- Further confirmation of the amazing ability of our mind and body to heal
- And perhaps some motivation to do further training!
Please note that attendance at this workshop will not qualify you to practice EMDR without further training.
