Once Upon a Time – how to use fairy tales to explore the inner landscape in therapy
Wed 16 Mar 2022 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM GMT
The Ellesmere Centre for Psychotherapy Training, HU8 9BA
Description
Wednesday 16th of March
10am - 4.30pm
£90 (£75 + vat)
The workshop will be largely experiential with potential for you to explore your own life story using a fairy tale, and in doing so, discover approaches that could support you work with clients. We will use stories, images, curiosity, creativity and compassion to discover the healing that can be found in “laying your life down alongside the tale” as Estes calls it. All you need to bring is yourself and any particular creative resource that you enjoy – a journal, any particular art or craft materials that are important to you etc. Basic paper, image resources, scissors and glue, and drawing materials will be provided. No particular level of training or experience is needed for this workshop, though a Foundation level appreciation of TA could be useful.
