As the Light Changes, a 1 hour pause to honour the turning wheel - Winter Solstice
Eight times a year, the light shifts. The Celtic calendar names each of those moments, the solstices, the equinoxes and the four great fire festivals and in As the Light Changes, we pause alongside them. One hour, online, held at the threshold of each turning.
This is not a workshop or a course. It is a rhythm. An invitation to gather eight times across the year and let the season speak before ordinary time moves on. Each gathering holds a teaching rooted in the lore of that festival, a guided breathwork journey shaped by the quality of the season, and a gentle integration. The shape remains the same. What changes is what the land is doing and what that stirs in you.
Marie Doherty and Sharyn with a Why hold every gathering together. The teaching is grounded in Celtic tradition.
At Samhain, the breath descends into what has ended. At the Winter Solstice, it holds still at the deepest point of the dark. Imbolc quickens it from below. The Spring Equinox steadies it into balance. Bealtaine opens it fully, the body meeting its own aliveness. The Summer Solstice keeps it there, present and unhurried. Lughnasa brings it warm into the harvest. And at the Autumn Equinox, it turns quietly inward, gathering what the year has grown.
You're welcome to join for a single gathering, or to return across the full year as part of the Acorn circle. The rhythm is there whenever you're ready to step into it.
