Copsegrove Farm family Sunday

Please come and join us at Copsegrove for the day to celebrate Spring with us and see what our farm is all about! After a long winter with several diggers and a whole load of chaos, our new courtyard will be unveiled and officially opened too! 

Come and see our newly born Welsh Black calves with their Mums, and meet their Dad, Derek Blewgi , our handsome bull! Can you guess his weight?!

You will also have the chance to meet Midnight and Moonlight, a pair of very special owls, who will be visiting Copsegrove between 12pm and 2pm!

Have a go at metal detecting and see if you can find some long lost Roman relics on the farm with Mick and Heather, our farm detectorists!

Venture on a gentle walk through a quiet and beautiful valley on the farm, listening out for the woodpeckers, and looking out for the primroses and other signs of Spring, until you reach a woodland where nobody knows....and nobody goes......... A campfire awaits for you to toast a marshmallow or two with your children, before you head off and explore the wild garlic carpeted woods for Superheroes of the animal world. Take a blindfolded walk of trust and hug a tree........and then see if you can find it again!

Head back to the farm buildings for a cuppa and a flapjack or something similarly sweet and sticky, or maybe a Copsegrove burger, or a hot dog if your tummies are in need of something more substantial. Ice creams will be on offer too if the sun is shining! 

Experience the delights of our rustic Bull Pen Bar ( minus the Bull!), where you will be able to buy soft drinks or something a little stronger if in need, and perch on a straw bale and enjoy music and some Morris dancing from "Hawthorne and Hare" in the courtyard ( NOW LEVEL!!)

Throw in a few farmyard games and activities in our lovingly restored barn, not to mention a tractor or two to sit in, to complete a fun filled family afternoon out!
