Copsegrove Farm Summer Solstice Samba night!

Please come and join us at Copsegrove to celebrate the Summer Solstice, Samba style! 

Grab a Caipirinha cocktail and embrace and celebrate the longest day of the year with Carnival vibes in the courtyard, welcoming our very special guests , the Stroud based Samba drummer Bloco "Simbora", with music from Stroud Global Beats.

Simbora are a fabulous lively and vibrant community drumming group, founded and led by the enthusiastic Tom Stickland. They have performed at many venues throughout Gloucestershire, along with both street carnivals and festivals further afield. They play a mix of Rio Samba, Brazilian funk, and Samba reggae from Bahia , all reworked in to their own irresistible arrangements of Afro Brazilian grooves, from which the unmistakably high energy, loud and groovy Brazilian pulse promises to turn the courtyard in to a street festival! Your'll be up on your feet before you even realise your dancing!

With some simple yet delicious Brazilian street food on offer, cooked by Ian Ballantyne on the BBQ, and drinks from our Bull Pen Bar.

 It promises to be a truly special and memorable evening you won't want to miss!
