FSI Graduate Group 2025
Thu 27 Feb 2025 6:30 PM - Thu 13 Nov 2025 8:30 PM AEDT
Online, Zoom
Description
Supporting ongoing learning in Bowen Theory and peer group networking-
Following on from the focus of the Graduate Group in 2024 on the development of Bowen’s theory, the theoretical focus in 2025 will relate to examining the togetherness forces within the societal process of the helping professions. The structure will include reviewing Bowen’s original writings on societal process and inviting short presentations from participants that examine togetherness forces. For example, when is a togetherness force an asset to a system’s adaptation to a challenge, and when does it become part of the problem?
Presentations will be on a volunteer basis and examine what Bowen Theory offers in thinking about the function of the togetherness force within the profession and defining one’s own thinking. In 2025 Graduate Group Membership will also include an increase in access to a range of FSI resources available for self-directed learning in addition to the structured meetings throughout the year – a library of articles and FSI recorded workshops.
