Please register to join one of the following Clinical Supervision Groups for 2026.

Each group has different dates and times so it is your responsibly to ensure you can attend the sessions. Our attendance policy is such that only 1 session can be missed during the year with advance notice given, with the exception of urgent special consideration. All groups have a maximum of 6 participants, if we don't meet our minimum of 4 participants then a group will not be able to run.

After you register and the group numbers are filled you will be sent an invoice for payment. To secure your place in your group payment must be received within 2 weeks of the due date, unless prior arrangements have been made.

After payment you will receive a welcome email which will include all the materials and information you need to be underway as well as access to your Google Classroom for the group.

Family Systems in Clinical Practice Supervision Group

– 5 x 2-hour online sessions
– $650+GST
*Program requirement for the Advanced Certificate in Couple and Family Systems Therapy*

This group is ideal for those interested in learning about family systems theory in application to clinical cases. It helps participants to integrate new knowledge about Bowen Theory in an environment of collaborative learning and reflection. Drawing on their thinking about family systems from the guided reading material provided, participants are asked to formulate hypotheses and present their thinking about clinical cases using family systems theory’s concepts. A key aspect of the clinical supervision program is clinicians increasingly reflecting on the self of the therapist, noticing their triggers and sensitivities to clients and where they are vulnerable to losing objectivity (taking sides).

Conditions of registration for this group:
– Currently working in a clinical / therapeutic context
– Commitment to all sessions with good access to internet for online participation
– Participants will get the most out of this group if they have some prior engagement with Bowen Theory – Join an FSI Introduction to Bowen Theory group or read more about the concepts here.
