When Tension Rises
Learning to lead, stay and grow
in the heat of relationships

Conflict and tension are part of every ministry and leadership context. This year’s Symposium will help you deepen your understanding of the function of conflict in an emotional system and consider how to respond wisely and helpfully as tension arises.

Across the day, you will engage with systems theory and teaching from the Bible, with space for personal reflection and a case study that will help you explore how these ideas apply as the heat dials up.

Contributors:

Nicky Fortescue is a faculty member at the Family Systems Institute, a pastoral supervisor and family systems coach.

Rev Craig Foster is currently serving in church ministry, with past experience as a school chaplain and as a marriage and family therapist.

Rev Dr Andrew Ball is a leadership mentor and systems consultant with extensive experience in church leadership, mission and organisational change.

Rev John Bell serves as the Executive Director of the US-based Center for Family Consultation, as a pastor, leadership coach and Bowen Theory educator.
