Short on time? Intimidated by the process of making sourdough and how you can make it fit into your life? Join me in my kitchen, and get a crash course in making a loaf of sourdough that's repeatable and simple.
Our Sourdough Mini course is designed for beginners who want to improve their skills and get a solid foundation in the art of sourdough. In this in-person class, you will learn how to make a loaf of sourdough, maintain your starter, and take a chunk of my starter home with you.
We’ll cover several recipes: A standard sourdough loaf, discard sourdough crackers, and a sweet easy-to-make treat.
This course will be taught at the farm in a small group (8 students) in our new teaching kitchen (if possible). The class will run for 2 hours.

A: In the class, you will learn how to get started with sourdough bread making, from maintaining your own sourdough starter to shaping and baking your bread to perfection. You'll also learn about the benefits of sourdough bread making, and tips for troubleshooting common issues.
Q: What materials are included in the class?
A: The Live class includes the two-hour session at the farm, a “dry” sourdough starter to take home with you, and access to the Sourdough class Facebook group.
**Farmhouse Sourdough Class Refund Policy**
We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances can arise, leading to changes in plans. With that in mind, we have created a clear refund policy to ensure transparency and fairness to all our customers.
1. **Full Refund**
- Requests made **7 days or more** before the scheduled class date will be eligible for a **full refund**. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 7 business days of the cancellation request.
2. **Class Credit**
- If you need to cancel between 7 days and **48 hours** before the scheduled class, you will not receive a monetary refund. However, you will be given **credit** for the full amount paid, which can be applied to any of our future classes. This credit will be valid for a period of 12 months from the original class date.
3. **Less than 48 Hours**
- Cancellation requests made **less than 48 hours** prior to the class date will **not be eligible** for any refund or credit.
