Synth & Shred is a monthly showcase at Far Out Lounge that features two things: Live electronic music and shreddy jams! From avant-garde modular synth acts to high-energy bands, this showcase aims to cultivate a home for analog synth enthusiasts as well as music lovers in general.

Back by popular demand, Daft Rex will once again headline the night! Daft Rex is a live Daft Punk tribute featuring some of Austin's most prolific perfomers. The band includes synthesist Rex Simmons (Touch of Trey, FunkOTron), guitarist Josh Pearson (Heartbyrne, A Live One, Touch of Trey), bassist Thomas Denning (the Capitol), and drummer Tim Smith (the Capitol).

Also featured:

Waterflyy, an Austin synth duo consisting of keyboartist/producer Meg Sita and Rex Simmons

We will announce an opening act soon and more special guests soon.
