Born between the Effra and Brixton Hill, following an urge to play Queens of the Stone Age and Shania Twain at the same time. Expect danceable pop-rock boppers and the occasional prog-metal freakout.
Lonely Oceans is the project of Essex-born songwriter Ben Curry and is recorded out of Brighton. Blending singer-songwriter roots with indie pop influences, Lonely Oceans draws inspiration from artists like Coldplay, Lewis Capaldi, and John Mayer. With acoustic foundations and honest lyrics, the music delves into themes of love, loss, and self-reflection.
Recent Achievements and Successes: Over the past year we’ve begun building strong momentum around our project. Our single “April” was featured on BBC Introducing London, which helped us reach new listeners and gain early industry support. We’ve also started recording our debut EP, to be released next year, marking an exciting new stage in defining our sound and expanding our catalogue.
Owen Blue blends rock n roll, pop and country in a live show that is both dramatic and subtle, loud and intimate. Taking influences from Nick Cave, Neil Young and Adrienne Lenker, Blue and his band will be playing songs off his newly released album, Still Lifes.
Slow Elm
Formed from 3 friends mutual love of bands like Turnover and American Football, Slow Elm is an indie band blending atmospheric guitars, driving rhythms, and introspective lyrics. Their sound sits somewhere between dreamy alternative and shoegaze indie. Aiming to create songs that feel both intimate and expansive.
