No Planet No Dinner
No Planet No Dinner
11am-6pm, Saturday 28th November, bar open until 7:30pm at the Workshop for Sustainability, 18-20 Cecil Road, Northampton, NN26PQ
Join us for this vibrant and proactive day following our community screening of The People's Emergency Briefing screening to continue conversations sparked by the film and respond to local food resilience challenges.
What’s happening with climate and nature, and what does it mean for everyday life and how we eat in Northampton? What small acts can we make now and can they have a big impact?
This day will feature guest speakers, time for conversation and idea shaping with a free lunch and bar open from 1pm onwards serving local and Food library drinks, including handcrafted cordials (with free recipes).
If you are interested in where your food comes from now and where it will in the future, if you've been called to action by watching The People's Emergency Briefing, if you'd like a safe space to share concerns, ideas and to explore how our community faces the impact of climate change on our diets and access to food, if you're interested in how supporting nature supports our access to food, then this event is for you.
More information will be released here and on the Food Library website as we approach the event.
