Kink and improv theatre have more in common than you think.
Both ask you to step into a role.
Both require clear negotiation, and trust.
Both are about presence & play

Kinkprov is an experiential workshop that uses improv theatre games to explore kink - helping you discover your edge, try on archetypes you've been afraid to embody, and find freedom to express in a contained, playful space.

We'll use classic improv structures - status play, scene work, character embodiment, yes-and-ing - and run them through a kink lens. What happens when you play someone who commands? Who surrenders completely? Who transgresses? ....because the most interesting question in kink isn't what do you like - it's who do you get to BECOME?

What we'll explore:

🌚 Stepping into archetypes that are slightly outside your comfort zone - the daddy, the devoted, the trickster
🌚 The psychology of power exchange: what it gives you permission to believe about yourself
🌚 How to be in the awkward - and let that be part of the play
🌚 Shame is the point - not the obstacle

You'll leave with:

👉🏼 A felt sense of your kink archetype (and what it's unlocking for you)
👉🏼 Tools to bring more presence, creativity, and honesty into power play
👉🏼 Permission to be a little darker, a little wilder, and more you ;)

About Haneen:

Intimacy Coach, Haneen Khan, is on a cheeky mission to help you feel joyful & connected to your desires in sex, dating & relating. Her playful workshops encourage you to break free of old scripts, so you can step into truthful intimacy.

Haneen blends her training of the last 8 years in Internal Family Systems Therapy, Non-Violent Communication, Wheel of Consent, and Improv Theatre, with her personal obsessions in kink & ENM.

In her practice, Haneen coaches self-aware, "therapied" high-achievers to:

•⁠ ⁠Get out of your head and into your body, so you can access what you really want!
•⁠ ⁠Voice your desires in bed, in dating, in love - without fearing rejection
•⁠ ⁠Address difficult conversations your partner(s), with intentionality and care

The workshop is open to a maximum of 40 people (non-members welcome) and hosted at a beautiful space in Haggerston. No experience is necessary. This workshop will be fully clothed, and you’ll be invited to keep switching partners / mixing groups for the exercises (optional) so you can come alone, partnered or with a friend.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to bring or prepare? 

Something comfortable to move in and sit on the floor. Water bottle to keep hydrated. Tea and light snacks will be provided. Please note we will be sitting on the floor for some of the workshop. (There are chairs in the space if you need one.)

I can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?

Tickets are strictly non-refundable but they are transferable to another person of your choosing (not another event). Please contact us with the name of the new guest in advance of the workshop. We do not normally operate a waitlist for Learn events but reserve the right to do so if the workshop is sold out. There will be a £10 admin fee per person if we can fill your place via the waitlist.
