2024 Fall Craft Fair

We appreciate your interest in being a vendor at the 3rd annual Fall Craft Fair sponsored by the Friends of the Merrimac Library! Crafters are welcome to participate in the following categories:

* Ceramics and glass crafts * Fiber and textile crafts * Flower crafts * Leatherwork * Housewares *Fashion * Needlework * Wood and furniture crafts * Stone crafts * Metal crafts

Please note: No booksellers, please. All crafts must be handmade. Digital sales are prohibited.

Event Details

Participation in the Fall Craft Fair is limited to the first 18 vendors to register. The cost is $30 per table. Only one table is allowed per vendor.

The Friends of the Merrimac Public Library will review all submissions. We will send a confirmation of your registration within three business days from the email account friendsmplibrary@gmail.com.

Payment is accepted in cash or a check made out to “The Friends of the Merrimac Public Library”. Once your registration has been confirmed, please drop off payment at the library's front desk by Monday, September 30. If payment is not received by that date could result in your space being given to a vendor on the waitlist. Merrimac Public Library hours are Mon/Wed 10:00 am to 5:00 p.m.; Tues/Thurs 10:00 am-7:00 pm; Fri/Sat 10:00 am-2:00 pm.

Each vendor must arrive no later than 9:30 am on the day of the event, and must not begin packing up until 2:00 pm. Each vendor must agree to be available during the hours of the craft fair.

Vendor space: The Craft Fair will take place in the Merrimac Public Library's meeting room. We will set up one 6’ x 30” table and one chair for each vendor. The total width of each vendor space will be approximately 9’, including the table. Due to space limitations, the only storage will be the space under your table. Please register as a single (1) vendor, even if you plan to bring a helper. We will provide an extra chair. 

Cancellation policy: Cancellations after Friday, October 11 will not be reimbursed unless we can fill your spot with another vendor.

Event set-up: There are three possible set-up times: Friday, October 25 from 6:00-7:00 pm -or- 7:00-8:00 pm, or Saturday, October 26 from 9:00-10:00 am. We will send your assigned set-up time in the confirmation email. We will direct you to your assigned table during set-up. 

Event promotion

Please submit a photo of your crafts that we can use to promote the event on our Facebook page. Please let us know if you are willing to post the craft fair flyer on your website or social media.

Important notes:

• No animals are allowed in the venue, except for leashed service animals.
• To protect the art pieces in the venue, nothing may be placed or taped to the walls.
• Everyone is required to remove their trash at the close of the event.
• There will be no access to electrical outlets.
