We appreciate your interest in being a vendor at the 2026 Merrimac Library Fall Craft Fair sponsored by the Friends of the Merrimac Library! Crafters are welcome to participate in the following categories:
* Ceramics and glass crafts * Fiber and textile crafts * Flower crafts * Leatherwork * Housewares *Fashion * Needlework * Wood and furniture crafts * Stone crafts * Metal crafts
Please provide a detailed description of the types of items you intend to sell. Pictures are helpful. This allows us to make informed table assignments so tables with similar items can be separated. All crafts must be handmade, i.e. no mass produced items.

Participation
Participation in the Fall Craft Fair is limited to the first 18 vendors to register. The cost is $30 per table. Only one 6’ table, which we will provide, is allowed per vendor. Please register as a single (1) vendor, even if you plan to bring a helper. The Friends of the Merrimac Public Library will review all submissions. We will send a confirmation of your registration from the email account friendsmplibrary@gmail.com. Note: Please check your spam/junk folders for this email.
Payment
Payment is accepted in cash or a check made out to “The Friends of the Merrimac Public Library”. For registrations submitted up to September 1, payment must be received at the Merrimac Public Library (drop off or mail) within 30 days of your confirmation email. For registrations submitted after September 1, payments must be received within 14 days of your confirmation email. Payments not received in time may result in your registration being cancelled and your spot being given to a vendor on the waitlist.
Merrimac Public Library hours are Mon/Wed 10:00 am to 5:00 p.m.; Tues/Thurs 10:00 am-7:00 pm; Fri/Sat 10:00 am-2:00 pm. Please note the library is closed on Saturdays between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Event Set-up
There are three possible set-up times: Friday, November 6 from 6:00-7:00 pm or 7:00-8:00 pm, or Saturday, November 7 from 9:00-10:00 am. We will send your assigned set-up time in your confirmation email. Let us know if the assigned set up time presents any conflicts. We will also include your assigned table number via email one to two weeks before the event.
Each vendor must arrive no later than 9:30 am on the day of the event and must not begin packing up until 2:00 pm. Each vendor must agree to be available during the hours of the craft fair.
Vendor space
The Craft Fair will take place in the Merrimac Public Library's meeting room. We will set up one 6’ x 30” table and one chair for each vendor. If you have a helper, we will provide an extra chair. The total width of each vendor space will be approximately 9’, including the table. Due to space limitations, the only storage will be the space under your table.
We have a limited number of electrical outlets available on a first come-first served basis for an additional cost of $15. Please indicate if you are interested in this option.
Important:
- Due to safety considerations, no craft items may be placed on the floor around your table. A rack placed next to your table is acceptable. Please indicate if you will be using a rack.
- To protect the art pieces in the venue, nothing may be placed on or taped to the walls.
Cancellation policy
If you cancel your vendor registration 30 days before the event, you may receive a partial (50%) refund if your spot can be filled by a vendor on the waitlist. If you cancel your vendor registration within 14 days before the event, no refund will be given, except for extreme circumstances subject to discretion of the Craft Fair Committee. If the event is cancelled by the Friends of the Merrimac Library, vendors will receive a full refund of their table fee.
Event promotion
Please submit a photo of your crafts that we can use to promote the event on our Facebook page. Please let us know if you are willing to post the craft fair flyer on your website or social media.
Additional notes
- Everyone is required to remove their trash at the close of the event.
- No animals are allowed in the venue, except for leashed service animals.
