Join the Friends of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park for an introduction to our Conservation Management Plan and a chance to have your say!
This workshop open to anyone who is a member of or a volunteer with the Friends of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park. Families are welcome but all under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. You do not need to book a ticket for under 5s.
Over the past 18 months we've been working hard to better understand the needs and wants of our community as well as more about the amazing heritage of our site. We are now ready to present the initial version of our brand new Conservation Management Plan which will lead the next 30 years of our conservation and restoration works at Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, balancing nature, heritage and community to make the Cemetery Park an even better place to be.
This workshop will give you an opportunity to hear more about our plans, give your thoughts on the Cemetery Park as it is now and help us to finalise the work that we'll be doing for the foreseeable future. We'll also be providing a tasty afternoon tea to thank you for your input with cakes and treats from Blue Daisy - the pavement pâtisserie.
If you can't make these in-person sessions but would like to find out more, join us for our online session (open to the whole community) which is bookable here.
