This is in invitation event for Growers and Chefs with an interest in seed diversity, flavour and food systems.

Join the Gaia Foundation's Seed Sovereignty Programme for a day celebrating tomato diversity at Simms Hill Market Garden.

We will begin the day tasting tomatoes from our outdoor blight resistance tomato trials.
Aftewards, we will taste a variety of locally grown tomatoes from the South West of England and the South of Wales.
For lunch we will share a tomato themed feast prepared by Setonji's Sunshine Kitchen.

In the afternoon we will hear from Songsoo Kim, Head of Sourcing and Development Super8 Restaurants about deepening relationships between chefs and farms for a better food system and bridging regenerative farming and seasonal menu development.

We are asking participants to bring tomatoes for the tasting - those you have grown or locally loved varieties.
