Dressmaking (trousers) - 6 week course

This is a 6 week course , on Thursday evenings starting on 3rd September 6-9pm

DRESSMAKING - TROUSERS, ELASTICATED WAIST, POCKET OPTIONS
Over 6 weeks you will make a pair of loose fit trousers, with elasticated waist that taper slightly to a cropped hem, which can be turned up or left plain. There are options for pockets

YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO:

• read and use a commercial pattern
• Cutting out the pattern, making adjustments so that the trousers fit YOU
• How to place the pattern on the fabric, transfer all relevant marking, and cut it out
• Sew the trousers together, making any other adjustments as required.
• Help with using your sewing machine if required.
