Captain Hook has paused his overseas adventures in Neverland to welcome you to his Immersive Afternoon Tea in The Gatehouse at Leeds Castle

Our new Captain Hook's Immersive Afternoon Tea is a Christmas experience like no other. With a live performance from Captain Hook and indulgent Neverland themed feast in a limited-seating experience!

All tickets include an afternoon tea feast, a themed welcome drink, unlimited tea and a gift from Captain Hook!

What to expect

Captain Hook expects no tardiness for his afternoon tea experience and expects all guests to arrive 20 minutes before the booked time to receive a limited edition 'Second To The Right' Lemon Drop Martini or 'Fairy Dust' Apple Juice mocktail.

Guests will then enter the Jolly Roger decorated Gatehouse to dine on an afternoon tea feast inspired JM Barrie's incredible novel with sweet and savoury treats like the Neverbird Nest egg and cress sandwich or the Pirate's Treasure Chest brownie bites and gold coins.

Whilst you feast, Captain Hook will provide entertainment, and adventure sure to amuse all.

Visiting Information

All guests must hold a Leeds Castle Visitor/Explorer ticket which must be purchased before or upon entrance to the castle grounds.

A fully accessible mobility bus is available near the ticket office, running regularly throughout the day. This service is operated free of charge to visitors requiring assistance.

Last entry to the castle is at 2:30pm; please plan your visit accordingly. We urge guests with the 11:00am sitting to enter the castle after their sitting, and those with the 13:30pm sitting to visit the castle before their sitting. As our food is prepared in kitchens where we handle various ingredients, we cannot guarantee that it is free from allergens. Therefore, it may not be suitable for those with severe allergens.
Please make us aware if you have an allergy or intolerance before the point of service. A member of our team would be happy to assist you with more information on ingredients.
We are able to offer a gluten free or vegetarian afternoon tea for those with dietary requirements.

All guests must have a valid afternoon tea ticket.

  One serving of afternoon tea, unlimited tea, a welcome drink, pirate hat or fairy wings, and a new live character experience including photo opportunities. 
• What teas are available?
  Our tea menu includes; English Breakfast, Decaffeinated Tea, Earl Grey, Red Berry, Camomile, Darjeeling and Green Tea with Lemon
• Are there vegetarian, or gluten-free options?
  We are currently offering; gluten-free, vegetarian, and gluten-free & vegetarian options. Please select the appropriate ticket at the booking stage.
  We are happy to cater for allergen requirements with advance notice please note, however, that menu preferences or substitutions cannot be accommodated, as our afternoon tea is a set menu.
• How long does the afternoon tea usually last?
  Afternoon tea sittings are twice a day at 11:00am and 1:30pm, with each sitting lasting for one and a half hours.
  Please note that entry to the castle closes at 2:30pm - we urge guests with the morning sitting to visit the castle after their sitting, and those with afternoon tickets to visit the castle before their sitting.
