The Gate Theater Group is a nonprofit social organization operating as a membership-based group which is legally recognized in Thailand as a Group of People or Ordinary Partnership and whose mission is as follows:

To contribute to the enrichment of Chiang Mai's cultural life through the production of English language theater within the greater Chiang Mai community. We accomplish this through the production and performance of plays and workshops that are relevant to a diverse segment of the local population.
