The Gender Doula's Consultation and Training Group

The Gender Doula presents: group consultation and training for therapists and other professionals!

Meeting: 9/18/25, 10/16/25, 11/13/25, 12/11/25, from 11:30 am PT to 1 pm PT. (We will take off January and resume in February of 2026 if there is interest)

Price: $65/session. Currently open to anyone who wants to join, although this is subject to change depending on the needs of the group

You can come one time or every month, at least for the remainder of 2025. However, the greatest benefit will come from attending multiple meetings.

This group offers support and training to therapists with clients who are exploring their gender, transitioning, or who identify as trans, non-binary, or gender expansive. Although 1:1 consulting services are always available, this group creates a space where we can dig into challenging questions and actionable skills together, as a group, and at a more approachable price point. 

In this group, we will cover topics including (but not limited to) supporting clients who are exploring their gender, tactics for avoiding harm, supporting clients through HRT and surgery, supporting trans clients during the ongoing backlash, and any other topics that are relevant to the clinicians who join. Each meeting will follow a general agenda, but will also be responsive to the needs of the group. 

Agenda:

• Eli will briefly discuss a specific topic
• Conversation and teaching
• Q&A
• Close out

Bio: Eli Lawliet, Ph.D., is The Gender Doula. In addition to a decade of experience researching trans healthcare, law, policy, and history, he has formal training as a full spectrum doula, breathwork facilitator, and tarot reader, as well as many years of surviving the world of poverty wages and retail work. The broad scope of his experience directly informs the equally broad spectrum of his work as The Gender Doula. Eli has been seeing clients since January of 2020 and has worked with hundreds of trans folks nationally and internationally in sessions, classes, and workshops. Though he was born in Oklahoma and raised in Missouri, Eli currently lives in Los Angeles (Gabrieliño-Tongva, Chumash, & Kizh land) with his partner, three cats, a dog, and four snakes.
