The Glasgow Wine Club presents the Summer Wine Fair 2024

Join us for our first ever big summer wine fair. We are pleased to bring together a number of different wine suppliers and businesses under one roof to provide you with the opportunity to discover and sample a range of delicious wines. We encourage you to buy any of your favourite wines that you taste on the day or place an order for delivery.

Due to the nature of the event, we will be splitting the day into two different sessions. This ticket is intended for session 1 only.

When - Saturday 24th August 2024 12.00 - 2.30pm (Session 1)

Ticket price - £25 (there are limited numbers and will be sold on a first come first served basis).

Extras - Nibbles included within the ticket price.

FAQs:

Q: What does my ticket get me?

A: 2.5 hours of tasting wines from different wine merchants and businesses in a beautiful setting. We will have wines from all over the world for you to try. There is no extra charges for the tasting, simply drink and enjoy responsibly. There will also be nibbles for you to enjoy at no extra cost and stunning art work to peruse.

Q: Do I have to pay extra for samples of wine?

A: No - tastings are included within the ticket price. All wine that you taste will be available for purchase so grab a few of your favourites. Some special discounts will apply on the day too.

Q: What time does the session start?

A: Doors will open 10 minutes before the start of the advertised session time. This will ensure you are in the building and have your glass and brochure ready to start tasting. The wine will start pouring at the start of the session and will stop at the end of the session. On conclusion of the session you will be asked to finish your drinks /complete purchases promptly and will be required to leave the building before the next session starts.

Q: Can I take notes of what wines I try?

A: Yes.. You will be given a wine fair brochure and pen upon entry to the venue. This will provide you will all the information about the wines available for tasting, prices for purchase and information about all the businesses who are taking part in the wine fair. The brochure will also allow you to take notes so you can be sure to remember what wines were your favourite of the day.

Q: What other stalls will be there?

A: As well as wine, we will have a range of other local retailers and food businesses, where you will have the opportunity to sample / purchase their products.

Q: Is there a cloakroom?

A: Yes. This will be unmanned and items left will be done so at your own risk.
