In this workshop from The Glastonbury Trust, you’ll be taught about the importance of giving and gratitude to your own wellbeing.
Your will learn about the benefits of giving to mental and physical health and longevity and of the benefits of gratitude to happiness and wellbeing.
You will gain an understanding on how giving leads to greater happiness, a greater sense of wellbeing, lower stress levels, lower blood pressure all based on scientific research.
You will also start to understand how gratitude helps us to stay well, deal better with adversity, and build strong relationships.
Your workshop tutor Mary Holland has a wide and varied life experience, having worked in health care, in higher education and in human resources.
With a MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, life coaching experience and more recently as a professional freelance musician (composer and performer). Mary also has Levels 2 and 3 Counselling Skills qualifications and is an accredited mindfulness and meditation teacher.
The cost of the workshop is £5* paid online or via BACS. Payments on the day and Bursaries are available upon contacting us via email first. *All fees paid are non refundable upon the event of cancellation by the learner, but will be refunded if cancelled by The Glastonbury Trust.
