June Compost Workshop

Join the GRO Team and learn from the best on June 27 for a full day compost workshop on the farm. This workshop is perfect for market or home gardeners who are looking to make a few piles of compost each year with their green waste. 

This hands on workshop will take you through making a small thermal pile of compost in the morning to learning about science of the piles in the afternoon.  Each participant will gain the knowledge on materials required and the proper techniques for building small thermal piles. Our aim to show that at home thermal composting is easy and accessible on the small scale! 

Please dress for the weather, closed toe shoes are a must and safety shoes are encouraged. 

This is a bring your own lunch event. Tea, coffee and water will be provided through the day.
