Sound the Alarm: A National Emergency Screening

Join us at One Birdcage Walk for a screening of the National Emergency Briefing film.

We're delighted to welcome Professor Mike Berners-Lee, Chair of the National Emergency Briefing, who will give the welcome and keynote introduction. He works on the systemic challenges facing humanity in the Anthropocene and is the author of A Climate of Truth, There Is No Planet B and How Bad Are Bananas?, and founder of Small World Consulting.

We'll also be joined by Simon Oldridge, one of the founders behind the film, who will introduce it and share more on the story behind its making.

This screening brings together leading UK experts in climate science, nature, health, economics and national security, presenting a clear, evidence-based overview of the risks facing British society and the UK economy. The film is non-partisan and designed as a shared foundation for informed discussion - covering issues like:

🌧️ Extreme weather
🍞 Food security
🏥 Health
💷 Cost of living

The screening will be followed by a brief discussion and drinks and refreshments.
