"Where do I go to meet other single Lutherans?"

Have you ever asked that? Wondered if you were the only young person, not only in your church, but the whole Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod? Watched everyone your age marry and have families? Longed for fellowship and companionship with others who share your doctrine?

Maybe you’ve outgrown Youth Group and feel lost in the church. Maybe you feel forgotten by the church because life has taken you on a different path than most people your age. Maybe you don’t go to church anymore because there’s nobody your age there.

God didn’t make us to be alone. He put the desire for love, for marriage, for friendship into your heart for a reason.

You are not alone. Come join fellow LCMS singles ages 20-45 for a day of Bible study, fellowship, and activity at The Gospel Gym event center in western Wisconsin! Meet each other and make connections that last a lifetime, whether through friendly competition or encouraging conversations. Laugh, pray, and grow with others seeking to discover God’s will in their lives.

Who can come?
LCMS singles (never married or widowed/widower) ages 20 to 45. If you are interested in attending, but are just out of the age range, contact us.

Where is it held?
The Gospel Gym, a Christian event space and ministry center, in Arkansaw, WI.

What is the schedule?
Check-in begins at 12:30 PM. The event starts at 1 PM and planned activities—including a devotional, mixers, games, activities, and open-forum discussions—will last to 7:00 PM.

Tentative Schedule:

1:00 - Welcome and Mixer

2:00 - Devotional with Pastor

2:45 - Break

3:00 - Games and Activities

5:30 - Supper

6:00 - Open Forum Discussion

7:00 - Close with Prayer (planned activities end)

What activities are available?
Volleyball, softball, basketball, badminton, jazzminton, corn hole, card and board games. (Some activities weather-permitting.)

What does it cost?
$20 (plus a $1.75 fee for payment processing) to help cover the cost of venue and food.

Will there be food?
Yes, plan on a pizza party for supper, as well as snacks and water available throughout the afternoon. If you have food allergies, contact us.

What to wear?
Relaxed, casual, and modest; jeans, t-shirts, and comfortable shoes for any activity. Layers recommended, depending on weather.

What to bring?
Feel free to bring your Bible along for the Bible study, a smile to share, and a heart open to making new friends!

The Garms Family is an LCMS family who owns and operates The Gospel Gym as well as performing across the USA as an acoustic Christian band.
