Cars & Curry S.1 Ep.5: Wimbledon

Welcome to Cars & Curry S.1 Ep.5: Wimbledon. Join us for a bhuna on the bonnet, a tikka on the tailgate, or a rogan josh on the roof!

The event will begin from 8:30am on Wimbledon Common Southside at the Southside Hustle Car Meet. We will be serving breakfast baps (bacon or veggie) from the bonnet of our Defender. Coffee is also available from the nearby coffee truck. Take your time to wander and peruse the wide variety of fascinating cars that always turn up to this brilliant meet.

At 10am we will roll out of Wimbledon and head for the Surrey Hills with a few stops en route to regroup and take photos. The route will be shared closer to the time but expect plenty of good driving roads and scenic views.

At midday we will arrive at Mandira's Kitchen which is a curry house set amongst a farm in the Surrey Hills. Here a curry (chicken or veggie) will be served by the cars. Please buy 1 ticket per person attending. You will need to either drive your own car or ensure another attendee has room for you as a passenger. Please also bring suitably warm and weatherproof clothing for British Autumn conditions.

By booking and attending Cars & Curry, I acknowledge and agree that:

• Driving: I am responsible for driving safely, complying with road traffic laws and following the Highway Code throughout any drive. I will not drive dangerously, race, or drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• My vehicle: I am responsible for ensuring that my vehicle is roadworthy, appropriately insured, taxed and legally compliant, and that I hold a valid driving licence.
• Personal belongings and vehicles: I am responsible for my own belongings and for securing my vehicle. I understand that The Great British Drive is not responsible for loss or damage.
• Personal safety: I will follow reasonable safety instructions from the organisers, take care around moving vehicles and parked cars, and supervise any children in my care.
• Food and allergies: I am responsible for informing the organisers of relevant dietary requirements or allergies before the event. I understand that food may be supplied by third-party caterers and that I should ask about ingredients and allergen information before eating.
• Event changes: The organisers may alter the route, timings or arrangements, or cancel the event where reasonably necessary for safety, weather or other operational reasons. Any refunds will be handled in accordance with the applicable law.
