What You Will Learn:
Split over two days across four tailored modules, our online courses cover a lot of ground. Created by business advisors, sustainability experts & former PwC consultants to give you the tools and resources to start your clients on the road to Net Zero.
Module 1: Climate Change: The Science, Context & Impact
Gain a foundational understanding of climate change, exploring the scientific evidence, its global and local impact, and the urgent need for action. You will gain insights into the interconnections of environmental, social, and economic factors.
Module 2: Climate Policies in the UK, Climate Action & Your Client Needs
This module explores current UK climate policies, relevant legislation, regulations, and policy frameworks. You will learn about various types of climate action, including mitigation, adaptation, and resilience strategies.
Module 3: Carbon Footprinting, ESG Frameworks & Reporting Responsibilities
Day two starts with a focus on the practical aspects of carbon foot-printing and Scopes 1,2 & 3. You will learn how to conduct carbon footprint assessments, understand key reporting frameworks such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), and enable your business to meet any ESG reporting obligations.
Module 4: You, Your Client & Sustainability: How to Build Out Sustainability Strategies
The courses concludes as we focus on developing and implementing effective sustainability strategies, covering examples of businesses that have already seen success from doing so and how you can mirror these achievements in your own business.
Certification & Next Steps
After day 2, you will complete the Carbon Literacy Project certification process, make individual and organisational action pledges, and plan for ongoing improvement and long-term climate action.
