Theatre Patchwork: The Sewage
Multiple dates and times
The Greenhouse Theatre @ Canary Wharf, Jubilee Park, E14 5JP
Description
Two brothers dive into their toilet to rescue their pet goldfish. They discover a mysterious, hidden world - the place of throwaways, outcasts, and grotesque creatures - a world where weird is normal, and normal is weird.
The brothers are thrust into the world of The Sewage, armed with febreeze and swimming goggles - encountering a society of people living beneath the surface world governed by a tyrannical fatberg. Together the brothers must learn to work together and find their precious pet.
This new piece of devised physical theatre uses buffon, slapstick, and puppetry accompanied with live music to tell the story of this physical comedy. Join us on this journey into the grotesque and find beauty on the way.
The Sewage is supported by the Pebble Trust through being recipients of the Pebble Trust Young People’s Award.
