Three queer people cross paths.
Their connections blossom like the plants they nurture.
Their history as deep as the roots beneath their feet.
PlantGays is a light-hearted, informal show about the beautiful, strange and meaningful ways queer people connect with nature. The show is a celebration of queerness and all its joys, telling a collection of queer stories and vignettes about houseplants, gardening, forests and greenery.
PlantGays is co-authored by three actor writers: Jonny Brace, Maria Telnikoff and Mol Tucker. The show is a result of a unique collaborative process between a team of LGBTQIA+ creatives, facilitated by Selwin Hulme-Teague and White Noise Theatre.
So, come and join us. Bring a plant and a pillow to sit on (we mean it, please bring a pillow and a plant), hear our stories and have a laugh. Everyone is welcome.
